備考

刺身，寿司，洗い，塩焼き，汁種，ムニエルなどにして食べられる（田中 1926; 中坊編 2018; 尼岡ほか 2020; 小枝ほか編 2020)．有明海の個体群は本種とタイリクスズキの交雑を起源とする集団（細谷ほか 2019）．
